Division Leaders - 5
As the season drags on winning games becomes much more important. Every team struggling to lead there own division and every team wanting that superbowl ring. If you've got no idea as to whats going on and who's leading what let me fill you in. In the NFC East we have The Dallas Cowboys tied with The Philladelphia Eagles both having the record of 8 wins and 4 losses (8-4). Third in the NFC East is the New York Giants who are one game away there record being 7-5. In the NFC North The Minnesota Vikings lead with the record 10-2 and Green Bay is two games behind (8-2). In the NFC South its mostly a shut out there leader being The Saints who remain undefeated 12-0 and the next best team is atlanta who is 6-6. In the NFC West Arizona has the lead 8 and 4 and San Francisco and Seattle trailing behind with the record 5-7. That about sums up the NFC and now we move on to the AFC. In the AFC East The New England Patriots leade 7-5 with Miami and New York (Jets) following closely behind both those teams being 6-6. In the AFC North Cincinatti has almost clinched it having a 9-3 record and there followers (Baltimore and Pittsburgh) having a 6-6 record. In the AFC South we have our second undefeated team The Inndianapolis Colts who have already stolen the lead from there closest competition Jacksonville who is 7-5. Finally we'll end it with the AFC West who has San Diego beating Denvers Record by only one game. In the NFL theres always a few wild cards so keep watching and see if your team could make it to the superbowl.

Injuries - 4
Everyone knows that if your going to play the NFL you're bound to get hurt and many have already. For the Arizona Cardinals there quarterback Kurt Warner is questionable to play with a concussion and so is there running back Tim Hightower with an injured thumb... yeah. Also on the Cardinals will Davis with a knee injury missed week twelve against Minnesota. On Atlanta Matt Ryans the quarterback will not play in week thirteen against the eagles and there running back Michael turner is questionable to play for week thirteen. The Ravens LeRon McCain missed week 12 against the Steelers but is expected back. As for the Carolina Panthers Jake Delhomme and DeAngelo Williams are both questionable for week 13 against Tampa Bay. In Cincinnati the Bengals running back Cedric Benson is probable for there game against Detroit. Also if you haven't found out yet Donte' Stallworth is still suspended until 2010. The Denver Bronco's have two players that missed week 12 against the giants they are Eddie Royal and LaMont Jordan. The Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Petigrew is out for the season with a knee injury. The Packers had a running back and a wide receiver that missed week 12 vs. Detroit it was Ahman Green and Jordy Nelson. Somehow the Houston Texans have managed to be Uninjured for now. 7 of the Indianapolis colts players are injured including there second string quarter back and the kicker Adam Vinatieri. Kansas City's Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is suspended until at least week fifteen against cleveland. New Englands second running back is still out with that ankle injury and missed week 12. The Saints continue to win even without Reggie Bush there star running back. The Giants quarterback Eli Manning is probable for week thirteen with a foot injury and there first two running backs are out one with a concussion. The New York Jets quarterback went through limited practice with a messed up hamstring but is questionable for week thirteen against the Buffalo Bills. The Eagles are falling apart with Brian Westbrook and DeSean Jackson are out with concussion. Troy Polamalu and Ben Roethlisberger are injured Big Ben with a concussion. You know players are limited to around three concussions until there forced to drop out... now how many times have I said concussion? The Seatlles Seahawks running back Julius Jones missed week 12 against St. Louis with a chest injury. Yes this long list is all the important injuries in the NFL... wow.

The NFL - 3
The NFL continues to surprise us week after week. On the Thursday game (The 49ers VS. The Bears) The 49ers pulled a victory out of the bag, Jay Cutler managed to throw 5 interceptions and the bears defense seems to be nothing without Urlacher who is still out. The 49ers won 10-6. Finally in the NFL has no team that hasn't at least won one game. Though we do have four that have only won one. These teams are the Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns, St. Louis, and The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Detroit following there legacy from the 2008 season which resulted in zero wins at least they got one win. More on the bright side The New Orleans Saints remain undefeated with five home wins and 4 wins on the road. Also The Indianapolis Colts remain and Reggie Wayne is starting to make the receptions he deserves to. With the team Indianapolis has i wont be surprised if they make it to the Superbowl along with the saints. Last year no team has gone without a defeat we'll see what happens this year. In my opinion the three biggest players in week 10 were Chris Johnson, Peyton Manning, and Randy Moss. Peyton Manning who completed 28 out of 44 attempts. He managed 4 touchdown passes and only two interceptions. He didn't even try running and i wouldn't either if i had the arm he did he ended up passing for 327 yards. Then there is Chris Johnson a running back for Tennessee who rushed 26 times for two touchdowns and 132 yards he also caught 9 out 0f the 9 passes thrown to him for a total of 100 yards. Altogether he managed 232 yards and two touchdowns. Finally there is Randy Moss a wide receiver for New England who caught 9 of the 16 passes thrown to him which resulted in 179 yards and two touchdowns. Thats whats happening in the NFL.

The World Series... OVER - 2
Yes folks finally its all over, with the yankees on top. The final game ended 7-3! at one point the yankees were winning the game 7-1. Somehow the yankees managed to pull this one off without one of there better pitchers, C C Sabathia. Now the pitchers in this game were Pettite and Martinez. If you recall Martinez did get Booed of his own mound in philidelphia so the game seem a little unfair from the start. Almost immediately Martinez was called off the mound and there relief pitcher Durpin came in. Most of you know the relief pitcher is a last hopeand you bet he was, but unfortunately there last hope wasnt what they had hoped for. No Durpin gave up just as many runs as Martinez. But we all saw this coming thanks to the world series MVP Hideki Matsui. Yes an old man with the spirit of a twenty year old is hitting RBI's and homeruns left and right. Sure the whole team helped but if they got on base Hideki Matsui hit them in! all and all it was a fantastic game starting at 7:57 and ending sometime around midnight. If you followed the whole game you must have been intrigued, but i happen to know some phillies fans who fell asleep during the 7-1 period unable to watch anymore. Well ladies and gentlemen thats the game 7-3 and the yankees with there 27th world series as compared to the runner up who has around 7. now theres a fun fact.

Something you might be interested in... - 1
If your taking the time to read the sports section I hope your taking the time to follow the world series. If you are you know that the record currently is 3-2. The first game went to the phillies in the Bronx. After that nobody knew what happened. Some suppose the phillies got confident but whatever the case the yankees continue to win the next three games. It seems as if they had the series in the bag and then on monday the phillies struck back and stood up for there home feild. At one point the score was even 6-1 but finally it ended 6-8 phillies. In this game the Phillies suffered one injury Victirino who if you ask me offered himself to the pitch whined about his somewhat hurt finger the whole game. The next game is wendsday november 4th at 7:57 PM. Pettite is pitching for the yankees and Martinez for the Phillies who as most of you know got booed of his own mound and the yankees only need one more game to win it all. We'll see wendsday night. Then theres Brett Farve who for some odd reason feels like he doesnt need to try against some of the lower teams. When he plays the ravens or the packer he just destroys them but when he plays say the browns he just lacks whatever pizazz he had when he played the actually good teams. The remaing undefeated teams are Indianapolis and New Orleans. New Orleans just tearing through the NFL roster. Then theres Tampa Bay... who somehow managed to not win a single game. Other teams with streaks coming up are the Pittsburgh Steelers with a four game win streak and the Detroit lions with a four game lose streak. Also suprise suprise no ties.

World Series 09
With a second game on tonight the phillies take the lead 1-0. Now i've seen allot of phillies fans getting quite confident. I believe there is 7 games in the world series? i mean correct me if im wrong. But i do believe if only one game has passed that leaves about six games left. I mean yes im a yankees fan but im not going to be biast. The yankees have the better team statistically wise. But i've been told that the yankees are souly players with paycheck so apparently the phillies got soul. CC Sabathia the yankees "best" pitcher pitched a great game unfortunately not good enough because he gave up lord knows how many walks. Meanwhile the phillies did amazing in there first game one of the most embaressing games in the world series. though as many people know there is 6 games left i repeat SIX games.

Sports Whats!?
Recently things have been happening in the sports world that make you want to say oh... something along the lines of WHAT!? Like the throwback jerseys... ok really? Since when did fashion become part of football and WHO CARES? "Oh my gosh like OMG did you see the bronco's striped uniforms!? Who do they think they are?" Patriots Vs. The Titans the game ended in 59-0 patriots. a matter a fact the patriots were winning so badly they pulled Tom Brady out of the game. Now you figure why tom brady why not the running back well maybe because the patriots QB threw 5 touchdown passes in the second quarter i bet some fantasy owners are happy. Now it makes you wonder what happened maybe even just WHAT!? Hey if you saw the game youd be disspaointed the titans team seem to just give up. like they werent even trying anymore if anything they should be playing harder! Your embarresed and deafeated your thinking about next year when you should be thinking about this game right now! Tenesee is now 0-6 which yes means they have not won a single game. The patriots got a rushing touchdown and a field goal in the first quarter then 5 touchdown passes in the second and finally two touchdowns in the second one by the back up QB. Then theres the Eagles game... WHAT!? Oaklands been the worst team for years and the eagles lost! im sorry to all the eagles fans out there but is that even possible? I mean come on, you guys wanted the superbowl this year and you lost... to the raiders... yeah. Then theres Farve who seems to be proving himself by saying "i dont need to be retired because im good" and hey if he can lead a team 6-0 undefeated i say keep doing what you do best bud. But the Bronco's THE BRONCO'S WHAT!? I mean man they came back with a fiery vengance. They came in with a were not going to lose additude and kept with it and sure maybe the little fight before the game inspired some good plays. For anyone who managed to see that game you saw Eddie Royal return that 87 yard kickoff for a touchdown and if you were a Bronco's fan you were screaming the whole 87 yards. This year is proving to be quite an interesting year and hopefully will continue to make you say what!?

Espn Giveaways
The trade deadline seems to be invisible to most players in the NFL. With the deadline soon approaching no changes have been made to any team rosters and most rumors have been hushed. If any trade does arrive it would probably be one that most did not see coming. The rumor of Terrel Owens being traded is unlikely. Not to mention he's been kicked off two teams already. What an attitude on that guy. We were all expecting the Cleveland Browns to drop Brady Quinn but the Browns quarter back hung tough. The backup quarter back

The Flip-Flopper Proves Himself
Yes Brett Farve has prove himself worthy of... worthy of... something good. Yes with a total of two hundred and seventy one yards and THREE touchdown passes with a grand total of zip zero NO interceptions. This game was Brett Farves proof to the world that he's still got it. The man tried hard to show his old team he was doing just fine. This game was an action packed passing game each quarter back saying "oh were fine" Each defense trying to pick off passes to prove the other QB's not nearly as good. Aaron Rodgers managed three hundred eighty four yards, two touchdowns and one interception. After the game Brett Farve shed a tear for his victory. Seriously how old is that guy forty how old is that in football years? 80 sounds about right. Green Bay seems to be carrying on without there pass junkey while if i do say so myself the Vikings have most deffinetely improved. Though Brett Farve is more of a short pass to the tight end or a little pass to Brenard Berrian maybe a quick throw to Adrian Peterson he went all nine yards and continued to throw 31 yard passes and 26 yards he moved up that field. While Aaron Rodgers also had a large passing game saying "we dont need you" with a 62 yard touchdown pass. Brett Farve is back-ish.

First point of the first quarter of the Denver Oakland game goes to Denver a 2 yard pass to Marshall for a touchdown and later on ending the first quarter denver gets a field goal the first quarter ending 10-0. in the second quarter Oakland gets there first point that being a 48 yard field goal. Denver counters with a field goal of there own ending the second quarter 13-3. The only point of the third quarter belongs to the Bronco's that being a rush on the left end for 7 yards by Moreno. With one quarter left the score is 20-3. Denver finishes up the game with a field goal ending the game 23-3. In the Browns VS. Ravens game the ravens won 34-3. San Francisco plays Minnesota. In the first quarter Brett Farve straight out gets the touchdown leaving the 49ers scoreless at the end of the first. in the second quarter The Vikings score two field goals and thats all they'll get in this quarter but the 49ers get one 5 yard touchdown and a blocked field goal returned for a touchdown! the second quarter ends 14-13 49ers. San Francisco scores one field goal and as the kick it off green bay returns the kick 101 yards for a touchdown ending the third quarter 20-17 Minnesota. In the final quarter both teams get a final touchdown and the game ends 24-27 Vikings. Yes the all too common disease of the mondays has been beaten out again by monday night football. The first week of football has come and gone and the stats are here. the fist game of the season Steelers VS. Titans, the steelers won in overtime 13 to 10. The games first point was a touchdown, a 34 yard touchdown pass to Santonio Holmes. The score is 7-0 in the second quarter when next possesion the titans get a short 14 yard touchdown pass. 7-7 and then comes half time. Nothing in the third quarter. Then in the 4th quarter the titans sen out there kicky and get a feild goal for another three points. Score in the 3rd quarter is 10-7 titans. Later in the 3rd quarter the steelers under pressure to tie it up sound out there kicker to even the odds and the kick is good. 10-10 in the 4th quarter and the game goes into overtime. Finally the steelers finsish it with a field goal. In the Eagles VS. the Panthers game the panthers took the lead in the 3rd quarter and kept it till the end of the game in the first quarter Deangelo Williams had an 11 yard run for a touchdown 7-0 panthers. in the same quarter David Akers gets a field goal 7-3 still panthers. In the second quarter eagles take the leasd with 28 points in the 2nd quarter leaving the points 31-7 eagles. in the third quarter Donavan Mcnabb himself runs one in for 7 leaving the score 38-7. In the Cardinals VS. 49ers game the game ended in 20-16 49ers. The red birds havent flown any higher since the superbowl. The 49ers took an early lead getting two field goals leaving the score 6-0 in the end of the first quarter. In the next quarter the 49ers got the touchdown AND the extra point but the cardinals quickly responded by getting a two field goals like the 49ers in the first quarter, the score 13-6 at halftime. In the third quarter the cardinals were the only ones to get a point 13-13. In the fourth quarter desperate to win the cardnials managed to get a field goal and the 49ers got the touchdown finally leaving the score 20-16 49ers. In the Broncos VS. Bengals the Bronco's got two field goals in a row in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. then after the bengals got a touchdown in the fourth leaving the score 7-6 the bronco's had to and did get a touchdown. going for the unnecesarry extra point the bronco's fail the 2 point conversian but still win 12-7. "Hide your beagle Vicks an eagle"
Yes lady's and gentlemen Michael Vick is back. As a sports writer my job is not to give my opinion but i will give you facts on the subject. Michael Vick has been recruited and he is 4th string. Yes as far as i know Michael Vick is still suspended for a few games but who cares right? he's fourth string! i mean who picks up a used to be PRO PLAYER and puts him in fourth string? I mean theres no doubt in my mind he will make his way to the top of the charts once again and is going to regain his quarterback throne. The thing i see as a problem is everyone seeing Michael Vick as the dog killer or why is he trying to get rid of McNabb? His job as a QB is to throw a pass that can get a touchdown and he can do that. Michael Vick states that yes he did dog fight he also says hes planning on helping more dogs than he hurt. Michael Vick was brought up on dogfighting, If your parents smoked everyday and never told you it was bad would you make the assumption it was? The simple fact is that McNabb cracks under pressure almost everytime if you've got a backup like Vick who knows the eagles may win a superbowl. The simple reason i believe the eagles picked up Vick is because Mcnabb will get injured or crack AGAIN. Other players have commited crimes and i havent seen a single one cause as much uproar as the Vick contract. It is true Michael Vick has wronged but it is no doubt in my minda that once he starts to play again the whole thing will blow over.

Federal Prison Say What!?
As we all know the once famous Michael Vick was arrested for dog fights. Well... I think he's back ya'll. Yes the Burea Of Prisons was very secretive of the release of Michael Vick leaving us wondering about the fate of our own superstar Michael Vick a quarterback gone bad. But reported today (May 19th 2009) Michael Vick is being released as of tommorow. He will not be escorted and his travel is not limited. He could leave in a helicopter for all leavenworth federal prison cares. After making an appointment with his probation officer he has 24 hours to make it to Hampton VA, to start his home confinement. Big let down to all you Vick fans no he's not being "released" but he's out of jail. Short article with important information.

NFL - The new soap opera?
Recently We've undergone a draft... No, THE DRAFT. These guys are the future of the NFL and because of these guys the whole world might just explode. So much happened in the NFL and its all getting more and more dramatic. Im starting to wonder if im watching a soap opera! Lets start with the super stars you know. Michael Vick, is he coming back? So far the rumor has been denied besides if he's gonna come back he's got to get out of jail first. Reggie Bush and his knee? So far the cartlidge has worn away and for a guy like him thats going to mess him up in the long run and I mean 'run' literaly. What about Plexico Burress? I havent heard any recent news on him frankly with the giants draft pick he might become "obsolete." The giant's first round pick was a wide reciever. Plexico's replacment? Thats the question. The giants also managed to pick up a linebacker, another wide reciever, and a tight end. Next is a team i suppose you all want to hear about, The Eagles. The Eagles first round pick was Jeremy Mcalin, an amazing first round pick. But I'm wondering, Why? I mean the eagles got all the offense they need i thought they'd be focusing on deffense. I cant blame them though, give Donovan some fresh meat and he'll hit them and maybe make the next Larry Fitzgerald. Then they picked up a running back for there second pick! WHAT?! Is Westbrook ok? Is he losing his pa'zaz? Or is the second string just not good enough? Got to make you wonder if LeSean McCoy will be the next face behind Donovan McNab. Since I talked about the eagles i figure i should do the opposite, The Cowboys. There overall draft pick was PATHETIC. They managed to get a deffensive line, wow. Can Tony Romo throw to a deffensive end? They need an offensive before they can worry about blocking people from kicking there butts this season. Redskins a team that needs to get reminded that tey play football. Honestly, Whens the last time you heard "Go Redskins!" Everyone else in the league focused on deffense except for the occasional seventh round running back. Boy, was it a year for those big guys. What Does Our Future Hold
Are you feeling down upset depressed to the most likely cause is lack of football in your T.V diet. Do not fret because I have the thing for you... The fate of the next season, who is being dropped, picked up and of course who are these new college kids we hear so much about. First of all I’d like to introduce Chris Wells. Straight from Ohio State. Currently in his college records during 2007 he had 576 yards 7 scores all on 104 carries as a backup running back. When He became first string running back in 2007 he got 1609 yards 15 scores on 274 carries. Then in 2008 he had 1197 yards and 8 touchdowns on the 207 carries he received in the just ten games. According to experts Chris Wells will definitely be a first round pick. His vision is impeccable ESPN.com states he rarely ever misses a hole. He has no off field problems is an amazing combination of height and speed his durability is amazing and frankly he has a crazy last minute burst. Next up is Knowshon Moreno another shoe in for the first round. In his first thirteen games in 2006 he had 248 carries 1,334 yards and 14 scores. In 2007 he had 1334 yards 14 scores and 248 carries. Finally in 2008 he had 1400 yards 16 scores and 250 carries. Knowshon is not one to be dancing behind the line he go’s straight for the first down marker and doesn’t stop till he gets there he is well built but is going to need to gain weight when he gets drafted and is a natural born leader. Top on the list though is not a running back but a wide receiver Michael Crabtree from Texas Tech. Let’s put it this way his worst season consists of a 50 yard kickoff return, 18 touchdowns, and 1135 yards and through that season he played through an injured ankle. That’s a first round draft pick if I ever did see one. In other news the ravens might rob Anquan Boldin from the Cardinals, and Ray Lewis to Dallas? Ray Lewis is predicted not to move but who knows. Deangelo Hall might get drafted to the Raiders if he’s not going back to the Redskins and does anyone really know if Plaxico Burress is coming back? 2009 is going to prove to be quite a season.

SUPER BOWL HOAX
The super bowl a joyful time for family gatherings, rooting for your favorite team, and the amazing commercials. But the truth that the NFL has been hiding from us for years… the super bowl is fixed. Every year all the coaches get together in the preseason and decide who will win the super bowl. Drastic? Yes, yes it is but they are the ones who decide who’s going to walk home with a ring. Coach of the Steelers Mike Tomlin states “hey you got to make friends in this league.” Mike Tomlin was selected to win super bowl 43. One third of the super bowl decision is random the second third is voting and the third and most important is players. You can’t fake a good super bowl if a team with bad player’s wins that just doesn’t make sense so they decide which team has the best players which will help them get chosen for the super bowl. To add to the fact that the NFL picks the teams they also chose interceptions, touchdowns, turnovers, and even fourth down conversions. So yes if you are a Steelers fan the one hundred yard interception for a touchdown was planned well as far as we know. You see some times players improvise like the Steelers safety that was an accident but since the Steelers were chosen to win they pulled it out somehow. The fact that the Steelers have 6 super bowl rings is half luck and half skill considering that the NFL announced that they started planning super bowls in1995. The biggest news held a secret from American society until now.
Die Now or Later?
Killing people, Should it be legal? Now most of you reading this would immediately scream no, close the paper, and never read my articles again. But read farther and i assure you, you'll start to understand why i say yes. Yes killing people should be legal. Do you believe on euthanasia?Did Dr. Kevorkian have the right idea, maybe. When you say killing people you almost instinctively think "CRIME!" Who wouldnt? But what if the victims welcomed death, wanted it, awaited it. Some people think of putting there dogs down but when we do it to humans it is all wrong. Let me ask you if we cant do it to humans why do we do it to other living things?Think of it this way. You are Wealthy yet on your deathbed. You want all your money to go to your only son. Instead you use three quarters of it on the hospital who just to inform you your going to die anyway. Had euthanasia been an option you would have died obviously even though you were going to anyway and your son proceeds to have a nice wealthy life. opinion stated.
The Oldies
Back in the day many great players played the sport of football but two star running backs are famous for being purely amazing. Thurman Thomas played since 1988 to 2000. Thurman Thomas is the running back for the Buffalo Bills until 2000 where he played one year for Miami. Thurman Thomas is a 5 time pro bowler, has 4 consecutive superbowl apperances, made it to the football hall of fame class 2007, and won NFL MVP in 1991. Over his years of playing he has over 12,000 yards for rushing that led him to 65 touchdowns. He has 4458 yards recieving which has ;ead him to 23 touchdowns. Might I remind you he's a running back he was not meant to catch but he's all purpose. Over his whole career he's only had 50 fumbles! allot to some but remember hes played for 22 years. His fancy footwork has lead him to a great overall career. Barry Sanders has played from 1989 to 1998. His whole life he played for the Detroit Lions. Barry Sanders won the Heisman as a junior, he has NFC and NFL rushing titles, set 13 NCAA reccords, and was selected to play in the prowbowl 10 times (not in 1993 due to injury). Though he only played for ten years he had 15,269 rushing yards. As for recieving he only had 2921. Rushing touchdowns he had 99 and recieving touchdowns he had 10. Ove his years he has only had 41 fumbles. All in all Barry Sanders is a flat out ridiculous running back. Now we compare todays running backs quickly sneaking up behind our old friends records. LaDainian Tomlinson has after 7 years of playing 11,336 rushing yards and 3669 recieving yards. he already has 120 rushing touchdowns and 15 reciving. He's quickly catching up to our old stars.
Its a B-O-U-N-T-Y
It’s like getting paid to ruin someone’s life. A bounty in football is getting paid besides your regular paycheck to injure someone and get them out of the game. Edward Suggs is a Ravens Linebacker. Coach told him to hit them hard but he can’t spell the word bounty let alone know what it means. So when asked in an interview did you have a bounty on that young man (Rashard Mendenhall) Terrell replies "definetly we just didnt get him between the whistles" (the hit was on Hines Ward too). See in football the point is to hit someone hard so they think twice about running that route again. Yes coach told them to hit them "hard" but the word bounty was used loosely in the brain of Terrell Suggs. Yes Rashard was hit hard and is out for the season with a shoulder injury. Later Suggs speaks of the fact that his team don’t pay each other to get a player out and the coaches sure don’t but yes they do want to hit the big players hard. The point is Bounties are illegal in the NFL, and are a serious matter hopefully Terrell will think twice before he says something he doesn’t quite understand.
Injuries
Injuries are just something you accept when you play football but exactley what kind of injuries are you accepting? Willie Parker is injured with a strained left knee and will not return until week 7. After an injury Rashard Mendenhall the second string Half Back was put into the game. Only halfway into the Game He was struck HARD and that hit put him on the bench with a fractured left shoulder putting him on injured reserve. Brian Westbrook, Westbrook started with a normal ankle injurie due to a hit by the steelers rough and tough defense. But later in the season against the Redskins, Westbrook was hit so hard that he fractured two ribs and with the Eagles Week 7 bye they'll probably leave him out for two weeks and possibly a gametime desicion on week 8. Carson Palmer QB for the Cincinnati Bengals is hurting with a right elbow injury but played on sundays game against the cowboys and suprisingly made out with 23 out of 39 passes with a total of 217 reception yards. Anquan Boldin Wide Reciever for the cardinals is out with a head injury or *Fractured Sinus Membrane* And is getting a couple stiches on his lips the amazing part though is how he was knocked UNCONSCIOUS on the feild and undergoed a small surgery. Last but not least Gus Frerotte got two stiches on his non throwing hand and simply said himself "I think one of those hard-plastic things cut open a blood vessel in my hand,"But he's back to his normal self once again saying himself "its good, its fine" and throwing 19 passes for 222 yards. Thats whats up in the sports world
Monday Night
Possily the game of the century. Yes it is only the beginning of the season yet monday night football is getting more and more amazing. Focusing on monday night 9-15-08. Eagle's VS. Cowboys. The Eagle's started out with the ball. The team charged up the feild yard after yard easily but when they reached the redzone a fumble occured. What was supposed to be a simple screen was caught and with two step progress dropped it. It was tapped by an eagle's player hit it into the hands of a the cowboys defense who tipped the ball with his fingers and diving in for a touchdown with the ball is the eagle's offense. After all of that the referee called him down when he dropped the ball so the eagles had to settle for a measly three points for a feild goal. After that Tony Romo threw a 72 yard pass to Terrel Owens for a touchdown and Felix Jones returns a 98 yard kickoff for a touchdown. also the eagles score another feild goal the score at the end of the first quarter is 6-14. In the second quarter Westbrook gets a short 6 yard pass for a touchdown and Chris Gocong of the Eagles recovers a fumble in the end zone. Then Terell Owens gets a short pass for a touchdown and by the end of the second quarter the score was 30-24 it was starting to look up for the Eagles. In the third quarter Marion Barber gets a 17 yard touchdown pass. Putting the score at 30-31 Cowboys. Just at the beggining of the fourth quarter the eagles get a touchdown and the cowboys get a feild goal putting the score at 37-34 eagles. But with just 4 minutes on the clock Marion Barber runs in a one yard touchdown for the cowboys putting the final score at 37-41 a loss for our highflying eagles
